Emory is 1!!!

This year has gone by so fast. It seems like just yesterday we were headed to the hospital to have our baby girl. She has added so much joy and laughter to our lives. It is hard to think of how our lives were before her. Emory is such a blessing and we could not be more thankful for our precious girl.
 Emory is not only walking but running everywhere now. It is getting hard to keep up with her now. (Especially when I am 9 months pregnant!) Thank goodness I have my mom around to help me chase her when Nathan is working. We had a sock monkey party for Emory's first birthday party. We had lots of fun with family and friends! She is still very vocal and screams with happiness. She still says several words but most begin with B. Like baba, baby, puppy (to her it starts with a b), book, bite, ball and shoes. She also says dada, papaw, car, mama, uh oh and hi.

 

1st birthday stats: 

Weight - 22.5 lbs (75%)

Height - 33 inches (90%)

Her Birthday started with her waking up with her room filled with balloons. She was very surprised to see that when she woke up. I can hear her now... "ba, ba, ba"

We got her her own cup cake to dig into at home and boy did she love it!

One of her favorite presents was a baby that she loves. (excuse her attire, the party dress had to come off for the cup cake.)
