3 month pictures

This week we got Emory's three month pictures taken. At first she didnt know what to think about the whole situation, but after a few min she started having fun with it. Here are some of our favorites.  

3 Months Old!

Only three months has gone by, but we cant imagine our lives without our precious Emory. She is becoming more and more like a little person. She is smiling and "talking" like crazy and follows everyone with her eyes. But of course turns her head quick when she hears mom or dad. She is now reaching for toys and laughs at the noises they make. Her favorite toys are the ones with faces on them. She thinks they are funny. She is not a fan of tummy time but we are still working on that. She has not rolled over again since her two month appointment. I think it was a fluke! She stilll manages to squiggle around so im sure rolling over will come soon.
We did have to make a visit to the doctor this month. She was getting extremely upset after eating, spitting up more and crying every time she burped. Apparently she had grown out of her acid reflux medication so we had to double her dose and give her mylanta when she was really hurting. It has taken several days, but I think the meds are starting to help! At that doctors appointment, we found out she now weighs 14 lbs 3 oz. She is growing so fast! She is now wearing 3 month size clothes and some 3-6 month size. She has a very long torso.
This month, we have been shopping and running errands several times, out to eat with family lots and even went on Emory's first road trip (post about that later). She is so fun to be around and makes every little moment so much sweeter! Here are some pictures from this month.

4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July week down at the lake. Family and friends joined us to celebrate. This was actually our first fourth of July down at the lake. Nathan has had to work all the others since we have had the lake house, so we were excited to be there.
I had to have my gallbladder removed just a few days before we left, so I didnt do much, but Nathan had a great time wake boarding and taking Emory swimming! I still enjoyed being down by the water. Here are several pictures from the week.
