5 Months Old!

Our sweet Emory is 5 months old and boy has she been growing and learning. It seems like she learns to do something new everyday. This month she has mastered rolling over from her front to back!!! She actually rolled over the first time since her 2 month check up right after her 4 month birthday. We are still working with her rolling from her back to her tummy and she is so close. I know she will any day now. She now takes steps when you hold her up to stand and sometimes will hold her self up standing next to the table or an ottoman. We are working with her sitting up on her own. Right now she wants to immediately stand when we try to sit her up. She is definitely working on getting some teeth. She is constantly drooling and chomping on her fingers. We would expect to see those teeth pop up any day now. She is so much fun to be around and her personality grows everyday! New things... We borrowed Colton's exersaucer. Thanks colton! And she is getting a little too heavy to carry her everywhere in her car seat, so we have started to put her in the stroller and shopping cart when we go out. She is a little small for these things still but works much better than having to take her car seat in and out.

Visitors and Visiting

Earlier in August, Cindy's mom, sister and niece came to Texas to visit with Emory. We all enjoyed the time we got to spend with each other. Then the next week, Nathan, Emory and I went on another road trip to Iowa to meet and see the rest of Nathan's family. Emory is so blessed to have so much family.
